  • What is dermal filler?
    Dermal filler is made of Hyaluronic Acid. A water loving molecule that binds up to 400 x its weight in water. It works like a sponge and fills up with water upon injection filling out fine lines/wrinkles and plumping lips.
  • Will it hurt?
    We use numbing cream prior to most dermal filler treatment which helps ease discomfort. he injection itself also contains lidocaine (numb) within the product to ease pain of injection. We use only the best products on the market, ensuring the smoothest of consistency and ease of injection.
  • How long is the recovery?
    Please allow up to 14 days for swelling or bruising to go down, your lips will go through many stages in this time, please be patient. If you have any concerns after 14 days please us.
  • How long will it last?
    Please remember everyone is different. This is due to several factors including lifestyle, skin type, metabolism etc which effect the longevity of the product. What may give an immediate result on one client may take multiple sessions to achieve on another. Likewise, what may last 1 year on one client may last less than 3 months on another. It is important to note that it might take multiple treatments to achieve your desired result. Although it may be expensive to build initially, maintaining results are easy once you get there. Regardless, you shouldn’t begin a journey until you’re ready to commit. Dermal fillers are temporary and require upkeep once or twice a year. This is paramount to consider before booking.
  • How old do you have to be for treatments?
    Any aesthetic treatments you MUST be over the age 18, photographic ID will be asked for on the day of treatment. Failure to do so you will be refused treatment and charged 50% of the cost of treatment
  • I have an event coming up, when shall I get dermal fillers?
    We recommend 2 weeks prior to an event so this allows adequate healing time.
  • Are aesthetic treatments safe?
    Any treatments has risks and complications, your practitioner will go through these prior to your treatment in the consent process on the day of treatment. If you have questions prior to treatment contact us and we are happy to answer. Severe complications are extremely rare, we are trained in complications, first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and working as an A & E nurse can deal with emergency situations calmly. All safety procedures are in place to make your treatment as safe as possible.
  • What is botulinum toxin?
    It is a purified substance that's derived from bacteria. Injections of botulinum toxin block nerve signals to the muscles injected. They can diminish unwanted facial wrinkles and give a smoother appearance as without a signal the muscle is unable to contract. It can also be used for other treatments like hyoperhidrosis (excess sweating), gummy smile correction and more. This is a POM (prescription only medication) so ensure you medical consent is filled out to the best of your knowledge.
  • Whats the longevity of botulinum toxin?
    Botulinum toxin takes 7-14 days to see optimum results and its not a one size fits all so sometimes a 2 week top up is required. Dependant on the area injected It is also important to note, although are, there's a very minute percentage of people which do not see results with botulinum toxin, sometimes switching brand can help however its important to note if you are not seeing results you may be botox resistant and its not injector error (please note only 1 in 10,000 cases).
  • Do I need to pay a deposit?
    All appointments are booked through FRESH, upon booking your appointment must be confirmed using your card details. No Money is taken it just holds your details on your FRESHA account.
  • What treatment or amount will I need?
    Feel free to contact us prior to your appointment to discuss treatment options. If you are unsure on the amount of something you will need, this can be chosen on the day of treatment before treatment.
  • How can I cancel/change my appointment?
    You can cancel the appointment through FRESHA or contact us to change this, you can also reschedule your appointment through FRESHA. You MUST give a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel your appointment or 30% of the cost of treatment will be charged. 50% of the cost of treatment will be charged if you do not show to your appointment.
  • How do I book?
    You can book via FRESHA, click one of our book now links which will take you to the website. Alternatively you can contact us, we will need your name, mobile number, email address and treatment you want.
  • What if I am late?
    Although sometimes lateness cannot be helped it is your responsibility to ensure you arrive at the time of your appointment. Please keep us up to date however please note it is at our discretion to charge you 50% of the cost of your appointment as per booking policy.
