PRE TREATMENT
INJECTABLES
It is important that you follow the pre treatment guidelines or you may be refused treatment or it could affect your results.

You cannot have treatment if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

If you are currently taking antibiotics you cannot go ahead with treatment.

If you suffer from cold sores and have an active cold sore you cannot go ahead with lip filler treatments.

Do not have make up on for your appointment.

Avoid alcohol 24 hours before treatment.

Avoid ibuprofen and aspirin 24 hours prior to your appointment unless prescribed for a medical condition.

Avoid exercise directly before treatment.

Eat and drink before your appointment.
If you have had previous injectables by another practitioner please inform us prior to treatment as it’s possible you could be refused treatment depending on the previous work.
If you are unsure of anything please contact us prior to treatment.
Post Treatment
Dermal Fillers
It is important that you follow the post treatment guidelines to avoid any post complications post treatment.
Dermal fillers
• You may initially be swollen, red and bruised. This will subside within the next over the next 14 days. This can be mild, moderate or severe everyone differs and each time is different, it’s a normal healing process.
• It is advisable that you DO NOT TOUCH the area for 6 hours post treatment to prevent infection.
• Do not apply makeup or lip products for at least to 6 hours.
•Do not rub the area.
• Avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours following treatment.
• Avoid ibuprofen and aspirin for 48 hours post treatment.
• Filler loves water, stay hydrated.
• Avoid exposure to extreme heats for example; sunbeds, sauna, steam rooms for 2 weeks.
• Avoid exercise for 48 hours.
• Do not massage the area unless directed.
• Do not have any facials for 2 weeks post treatment.
EMERGENCIES - you will be given an emergency number at your appointment. This is in the rare event of a vascular occlusion. If your skin appears cold to touch, extremely painful, grey/white tone, mottled skin, slow capillary refill please contact the us immediately.
It’s important to consider the healing time frame around events. You need to be respectful that it is a process and your results won’t be immediate. You may also need multiple treatments to achieve your desired results.
Botulinum Toxin
It’s important to remember it takes up to 14 days to take full effect. Between days 14-21 you will get a review which your treatment will be topped up if needed for optimal results.
Please note if you do not need any additional treatment you will not be treated as this will increase risk a of complication arising.
•It is possible you may get some bruising and redness. Redness subsides usually within hours, however for any bruising allow up to 2 weeks to heal.
• Do not apply makeup for at least to 6 hours.
•Do not rub the area.
• Avoid drinking alcohol after treatment for a minimum of 24 hours.
•Avoid exercise 48 hours post treatment.
• Avoid Ibuprofen and aspirin for 48 hours post treatment.
•Avoid facials for 2 weeks post treatment.
•Avoid long periods of bending forward and DONT lie completely flat for 4 hours post treatment.
•Avoid exposure to EXTREME HEAT; Direct sunlight, Sauna, Steam rooms and Sunbeds for 2 weeks as this may effect results.
Please note like all medical treatments, the human body can be unpredictable and results may differ every time for example; you may go 5 times without a top up appointment but one time need it.
Botulinum toxin gets rid of movement lines not static or sun damage.
